Who We Are

Brightside Events was founded by Ali Smith after she saw a need in her small town community of North Perth, Ontario. Ali has had a passion for events for as long as she can remember, and pursued that through high school, post-secondary and beyond. She has her Business Marketing diploma from Fanshawe college, her Event Management certificate from Conestoga College and her wedding planners certificate from WPIC (Wedding Planners Institute of Canada).

Started in 2019, Brightside Events is an event coordination, consulting and event marketing company that will bring your dreams and visions to life. Our mission is to help our clients develop a clear vision of what they wish to achieve from their event, make a plan and use our skills, knowledge and resources to create events that exceed expectations.

Our vision is to create events that connect forever - connecting people to people, to places, to moments and to memories.
